This week, we got some rumors about a new overhaul of Xbox Game Pass for next year. These rumors suggested the creation of several subscription tiers and, most notably, the removal of XBOX games day-one from the Ultimate plan.

Ultimately, it appears these rumors were unfounded. This was clarified by Jez Corden, a reporter for Windows Central, in a recent article. He did, however, add that Microsoft is actively exploring “changes” to its service but that nothing has been finalized yet.

Furthermore, the American company has no plans to completely remove day one games from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Changes could still be made in this area, however.
