This October 16, Capcom will bring the remakes of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 to Switch 2. These native versions will also be available on physical format starting January 29, 2027.

In the meantime, GameStop has released gameplay footage for these three games, captured in handheld mode on the Nintendo console. There will be no changes to the content compared to other platforms. Graphically, the visuals also appear identical. Only the characters’ hair seems slightly less polished.

We’ll have to wait a bit longer to see these Resident Evil games running in docked mode on Switch 2.
