Media Molecule is a relatively overlooked PlayStation Studios developer. Since Dreams on PS4 in 2020, the British developer hasn’t released anything new. So much so that some might have feared the worst for its future. However, the studio behind LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway is indeed working on a new game.

The website MP1st reports that Media Molecule’s next title will be revealed in 2027. It is said to be a life sim inspired by titles like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. Furthermore, it is not expected to be a live-service game, although online features may be part of the mix.

We can’t rule out it releasing as early as next year, but nothing is certain at this point.
