Although it’s already available on Switch 1, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had not been optimized for Nintendo’s new console yet. This has been frustrating, especially considering that the excellent Cyberpunk 2077 is a looker on Switch 2.

Fortunately, the Polish studio will rectify this on September 29, 2026, with the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered on Switch 2. This version, which includes the base game, both expansions released to date, and numerous improvements, will be free for owners of a physical or digital copy of the Switch version.

In the meantime, CD Projekt RED has released screenshots from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered on Switch 2. The game is 43.4 GB and costs €59.99.
