The Kingdom Hearts 4 multiplatform trailer looks better than the Switch 2 one
Although it was shown during Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, Kingdom Hearts 4 will also be released on PS5, XBOX Series X|S, and PC in addition to the Switch 2 version. Square Enix has also posted a trailer on its own YouTube channel.
This video was captured on a more powerful platform than the Switch 2. We can therefore see some differences compared to the Nintendo trailer. The channel El Analista De Bits showed that the higher-end version displays a resolution of approximately 1440p upscaled to 2160p. The Switch 2 version runs at 1080p.
You can also notice differences in textures and level of detail, particularly in the environments. The Switch 2 version of Kingdom Hearts 4 is still very similar to the others, though.
Of course, we’ll have to wait until we get our hands on the game to make a final judgment… And there’s no release date yet.
