Sony has finally raised the prices for all the PlayStation Plus subscription tiers
Earlier this week, Sony announced a price increase for PlayStation Plus starting this Wednesday, May 20, 2026. However, the Japanese company’s press release was not very clear, as it only listed the new prices for the Essential tier.
In the end, the prices have gone up for all levels. Only annual payments are unaffected. Here is the new pricing policy, effective immediately.
1-Month Subscriptions
- Essential at €9.99 instead of €8.99
- Extra at €15.99 instead of €13.99
- Premium at €18.99 instead of €16.99
3-month subscription
- Essential at €27.99 instead of €24.99
- Extra at €43.99 instead of €39.99
- Premium for €54.99 instead of €49.99
For an annual subscription, PlayStation Plus Essential remains at €71.99, Extra at €126.99, and Premium at €151.99.
