Rumors about a possible Ori 3 were apparently unfounded. At first, insider NateTheHate suggested that the project was being developed by Saber Interactive. This information was later denied by Thomas Mahler, the director of the first two games at Moon Studios.

During Gamescom 2026, Tim Willits, the creative director at Saber Interactive, was asked about this by Danny Peña. Willits denied the existence of an Ori 3. He simply stated that the rumor is false and that his studio already has many titles in development. He specifically mentioned Jurassic Park: Survival and the John Wick game.

Thus, Ori 3 does not appear to be on the agenda after all.
