We still have no official details about the Steam Frame launch. Valve’s VR headset was originally expected to be released this summer, so we may get an announcement this month.

In the meantime, Brad Lynch has made a discovery related to the American company’s device. The Steam code contains strings such as "Frame Alyx Promo" and "HLAlyxPromoButtons", which would suggest that a special promotion for Half-Life: Alyx will be available with the Steam Frame.

As was previously the case with the Valve Index, Half-Life: Alyx could be offered to Steam Frame owners. The American company hasn’t said anything on the matter yet.
