Sony has rolled out a new system update for the PS5. It is version 26.06-14.00.00, which is approximately 1.260 GB in size. It should install automatically on the console.

Among the new features in this update is the default activation of the Enhance PSSR Image Quality setting on the PS5 Pro, so the new version of PSSR is also be applied to games that support the previous one, all with the goal of providing a more detailed visual experience.

Whether on PS5 or PS5 Pro, it’s now possible to see who is speaking during a voice chat thanks to a speaker indicator. The Community Activity widget has also been added to the Welcome Center.

When Bluetooth is turned off, the console will no longer enter rest mode, and the HDMI device connection will no longer work. Finally, system performance and stability have been improved.
