Microsoft’s financial results report are fresh out of the oven, and it clearly shows a decline in Xbox revenue for the last quarter. Compared to the first quarter of the following year, here are a few figures worth noting:

• A 10% decrease in revenue from Xbox content and services
• A 13% decrease in hardware revenue

In addition, there was a 5% decline in full-year results compared to last year. Asha Sharma, CEO of Xbox, is aware that the company is not in an ideal position, as evidenced by the numerous organizational changes, spin-offs, and layoffs earlier this month.

However, it’s not all bad news. As for Microsoft itself: its revenue increased by 31.34% year-over-year, reaching a staggering total of over $133 billion, driven in part by a 27% year-over-year increase in AI revenue. The company’s stock rose 4% yesterday following the earnings announcement.
