The studio One More Level aims to win over players with Valor Mortis. Earlier this month, the developer announced that its Souls-like FPS would be priced at just €39.99 to best reflect the game’s longevity and help it stand out in a market flooded with new releases.

In another post on X, the company known for the Ghostrunner franchise also addressed the lack of pre-orders for Valor Mortis. In fact, the project’s leaders have decided not to offer the game for digital purchase at this time. Interested players will have to wait until the scheduled launch on October 13, 2026. The studio chose this strategy so that "the game speaks for itself," without pressuring customers to buy it before launch.

Finally, One More Level explained that it wants to "always do the right thing for our players."
