There’s a simply massive gap between the Switch and Switch 2 versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This Tuesday, the remaster will launch on Nintendo’s latest console, bringing with it numerous improvements.

The YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits posted a side-by-side comparison. It’s literally like night and day. Of course, the Switch 2 version is superior in every way. The RPG runs at 1080p at 30 FPS in docked mode and at 720p at 30–40 FPS in handheld mode. On the Switch, players had to settle for 900p in TV mode and 720–540p in handheld mode.

What stands out most is the quality of the textures, the impressive draw distance, and the density of the vegetation, which was almost nonexistent on the Switch. The gaming experience should be completely transformed as a result.
