Publisher Playstack and developer Cold Symmetry have announced the release date for Mortal Shell 2. It will be available for PS5, XBOX Series, and PC on August 20, 2026. Purchasers of the Devout Edition will be able to play it as early as August 17.

This standalone sequel to the action-RPG released in August 2021 offers a Souls-like experience featuring intense, merciless combat. Players will control powerful warriors who must dethrone a false god and save the world.
