A lucky few had the chance to try out Fable at the XBOX Fan Fest held in London. A combat-focused demo was playable there, and several attendees have shared their thoughts on social media.

The Playground Games title ran on Xbox Series X at 60 frames per second in Performance mode. Many described it as "gorgeous" with "fun" combat and "intuitive" controls. The English voice acting was also reportedly of very high quality.

This is very encouraging news for Fable, which is scheduled for release on February 23, 2027, on PS5, XBOX Series, and PC.
