NVIDIA and AMD aren't expected to launch their new GPU lineup until 2028
Next-gen graphics cards are not expected to be released anytime soon. The component shortage, which is driving prices sky-high, is causing significant uncertainty in the industry. AMD and NVIDIA will likely remain very cautious until the situation stabilizes.
Thus, the well-known insider Kepler_L2 now claims that AMD will not launch any high-end GPUs in 2027. Only a mid-range RDNA 5 model is expected next year. Furthermore, NVIDIA is reportedly not expected to release its RTX 60 series until 2028. This contradicts industry rumors that had suggested a launch in early or mid-2027.
This information comes from sources within the industry. Caution is obviously warranted until an official statement is made.
