Ubisoft’s remake has reached a peak of 99,451 concurrent players on Steam as of the time of this writing. This is simply a record in the franchise’s history. Shadows, for example, only reached 64,825 concurrent users.

For now, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has « mixed » reviews on Valve’s store. Players are criticizing the addition of microtransactions, as well as visual bugs and a general lack of optimization.
