We’ll have more information about the launch of the Steam Machine this summer. While we wait for Valve to make an announcement, the console is back in the news by appearing on Geekbench.

It has returned to the platform under its codename, Fremont. SteamOS is now listed as the operating system. Geekbench also mentions a processor with 6 cores and 12 threads, 16 MB of L3 cache, and a clock speed of 4.86 GHz.

This timing aligns with rumors that the Steam Machine has reached testers.
