Rebel Wolves will release The Blood of Dawnwalker on consoles and PC this September 3. The game’s various previews have been impressive so far, to say the least, highlighting the many influences behind this open-world action-RPG.

Since the studio behind the title is made up of former CD Projekt RED developers, comparisons to The Witcher 3 were inevitable. However, the concept of The Blood of Dawnwalker seems to be closer to another franchise.

In an interview, Rebel Wolves CEO Konrad Tomaszkiewicz revealed that his game leans more toward the early Fallout titles.

"The Blood of Dawnwalker will first and foremost be a narrative-driven open-world game, much like the classic Fallout games. Our goal is to give players the freedom to choose their own path to the game’s conclusion."
