In a recent interview, Sergiy Grygorovych, the founder of GSC Game World, revealed a little secret about the deal surrounding this temporary Xbox exclusivity. Microsoft paid more than the game’s development costs to secure this contract. As a result, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 had already recouped its entire production costs before its release.
