Earlier today, the first rumors about the Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition began to surface (https://news.instant-gaming.com/en/articles/19204-a-new-xbox-game-pass-plan-with-discord-nitro-may-be-available-soon). This plan is expected to serve as a more affordable entry point into Microsoft’s service.
In addition to a partnership with Discord, the offer will include a catalog of over 50 games, 10 hours of cloud gaming per month, Xbox Rewards, and the ability to stream games from your library via the cloud.
In a new article published on Dealabs, insider billbil-kun reveals further details. First, he states that online multiplayer is not included in the Game Pass Starter Edition subscription. Another rumor suggested that online play could become free on Xbox.
Finally, we can see the full list of the fifty or so games that will be included in the rollout of the offer, expected by mid-May at the latest on PC, console, and compatible devices.
