Asha Sharma has wasted no time in erasing all traces of the « Microsoft Gaming » name and put the Xbox brand back at the heart of her strategy. The division’s president is proud to fly the Xbox flag through the slogan « We are Xbox ».

As part of this initiative, employees of the American company will have an « @xbox.com » email address starting next month. The Verge reports that this will replace the « @microsoft.com » addresses previously assigned. Employees may still keep their existing « @microsoft.com » addresses if they wish to use them as their default sending address.

Finally, members of Mojang (Minecraft) will be given a « @mojang.com » email address. The goal of all this is to strengthen Xbox’s presence within Microsoft.
