Variety has reported on a Warhammer 40,000 adaptation. An animated series is reportedly in development at Amazon MGM Studios, Blur Studios, and Games Workshop.

Henry Cavill, who will be part of the cast of the live-action series also produced by Amazon, is also serving as executive producer on the animated series. This will serve as a spin-off of the series Secret Level, which had an episode centered on Warhammer 40,000.

Dave Wilson, who directed that same episode, is the co-creator and director of the new animated series. John Orloff (Band of Brothers, Master of the Air) is assisting him in the role.

The exact details of the plot remain unknown. We only know that the elite Space Marine unit known as the Deathwatch will play a big role on it.
