These are the changes to combat and progression in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis
This February 12, we will be able to relive Lara Croft’s first adventure with a complete remake. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will revamp the original game’s experience with numerous improvements.
In a developer diary, Flying Wild Hog and Crystal Dynamics discussed the changes to combat and progression in general. For example, when Lara takes or deals damage, she’ll fill a focus meter that lets her slow down time. The adventurer’s two iconic pistols have also received special attention.
In addition, some light RPG elements have been included in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. There’s a skill tree allowing players to unlock abilities as they progress through the game. Players can increase fire rate, reduce damage taken, or speed up weapon reload times.
