The petition for Sony to start development on Destiny 3 has surpassed 400,000 signatures
Last May, Bungie announced the end of Destiny 2. The online FPS will get no new content, though its servers will remain active. From now on, the American studio is focusing solely on Marathon.
This situation hasn’t gone over well with Destiny fans, who are desperately calling for a third entry. For now, Sony has chosen not to give the project the green light, so it is unlikely to see the light of day under the current circumstances.
Players have decided to launch a petition online to pressure the Japanese company. As of this writing, more than 402,000 signatures have been collected on change.org. Unfortunately, this will likely not be enough to bring Destiny 3 into production.
