The Persona 4 Revival producer believes the two first games should also get remade
JRPG fans will surely be thrilled to pick up Persona 4 Revival on February 18, 2027, be it on PS5, XBOX Series, and PC. With this remake, the fourth installment in the series will feature modern animations, reworked music, and significant gameplay improvements.
This will be the second title in the series to receive such a treatment, following Persona 3 Reload in February 2024. Now, fans are wondering if other Persona titles might be brought back in the near future too. The producer of Persona 4 Revival, Kazuhisa Wada, was asked about this.
While he obviously can’t confirm anything, he believes that remaking Persona 1 and Persona 2 would be a good idea.
"At this point, I can’t say for sure, but personally, I think it’s something we should definitely do. I think we have to do it."
It remains to be seen what Atlus and SEGA will decide. Keep in mind that Persona 6 is also in development.
