The partnership between Intel and Nvidia continues, with high stakes
Lip-Bu Tan, Intel’s CEO, publicly announced on X that the partnership with Nvidia has been renewed. He also added that exciting new products are on the way. It’s worth noting that Nvidia had committed to a $5 billion investment in Intel’s foundry infrastructure by 2025.
For its part, Intel plans to supply Nvidia with customized Xeon processors based on the Diamond Rapids architecture. These chips will accelerate data exchange with graphics cards dedicated to artificial intelligence computations.
