Last April, SNK announced the release of the NEOGEO AES+ for November. This replica of the 1990 NeoGeo AES console was intended to provide access to a wide selection of arcade games sold separately.
Unfortunately, SNK has just confirmed a significant delay, as the NEOGEO AES+ will now be released on September 16, 2027. The company says it is unable to produce enough units to meet demand. This is due to limited component inventory. Existing pre-orders remain valid.
The NEOGEO AES+ is priced at €199.99, and games retail at €79.99 each.
