The GTA VI game codes for PS5 will be region-locked
Rockstar Games has clarified a specific point regarding GTA VI. The PS5 codes included in the game’s physical copies (available starting November 12 to allow for pre-loading) will be subject to geographic restrictions.
Thus, the code must match the region of the user’s PlayStation Network account. Otherwise, there may be some issues around activation. This applies to a large number of countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Rockstar has provided the complete list.
It’s worth noting that Xbox codes, on the other hand, are not region locked.
