Mewgenics is a tactical roguelite from the devs behind The Binding of Isaac and The End is Night that got released on PC last February. This small but highly acclaimed game sold over a million units just within a week of its launch.

The developers had already hinted at the development of a console version, specifically for the PS5 and Switch 2. However, it appears the XBOX Store made a minor slip-up, as the Mewgenics page briefly appeared online. It listed the game’s release date as September 8, 2026.

We can assume that, in addition to the XBOX Series consoles, Sony and Nintendo platforms will also be included in this release. We can’t rule out it being announced at Gamescom next week.
