Epic Games has confirmed some great news this week. The American company plans to officially support its online store on Linux devices.

This information was shared by an Epic developer on the official Discord server dedicated to the Epic Games Store community. According to this employee, they will need to put on some significant work to offer said Linux compatibility. Broader integration across multiple platforms may be in the works. The American company aims to do more than simply offer a launcher capable of running natively on Linux.
