The beta for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is over with the PC version being deemed a disaster

Those looking forward to MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls might be better off not pre-ordering it just yet. The open beta, which ended on July 26, has highlighted numerous issues on PC.

On social media, players have voiced outrage over the beta’s end, which was not extended despite last Friday’s PSN outage. Furthermore, some PC users described their experience as "horrible" due to major performance issues with the 2D fighting game.

Many pointed out slowdowns even on extremely high-end machines, with an inability to maintain a stable frame rate of 60 FPS. Affected users are calling for patches to be released for the PC version, the removal of the anti-cheat software, and the elimination of the requirement to be connected to the PlayStation Network.
