The God of War series is off to a rocky start. After a heavily criticized first image, the adaptation will have to find another actor to play Kratos due to an injury sustained by Ryan Hurst during filming.

And this is unlikely to be the only casting change, as two other actors will also be leaving their roles for Season 2. Callum Vinson, who plays Atreus, and Island Austin, who plays Thrúd, will be replaced. This decision was made due to their age, as these characters will be much older in the second season, and the actors won’t have time to grow up enough to continue in their respective roles.

It remains to be seen whether this transition between the different actors will go smoothly.
