Take-Two (Rockstar) reports that GTA VI pre-orders are exceptional
This news won’t come as a surprise to many. The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is making headlines again, and this time, it’s Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, that has spoken out.
During the release of its financial reports this Friday, the parent company stated that « global enthusiasm for the launch of GTA VI continues to grow, with the title off to an exceptional start in pre-orders », although no specific figures were provided.
The company also forecasts a 20% increase in revenue for fiscal year 2027, projecting $8 billion in revenue, with Rockstar accounting for approximately 37% of that total.
This news comes the day after an announcement that has already sparked a strong reaction: an extended preview of the game will be streamed exclusively on Netflix six hours before it airs on traditional platforms.
We can also expect another surge in pre-orders following the release of this preview.
