Things are going fast for Subnautica 2. A few hours after releasing in early access last Thursday, May 14, the game from Unknown Worlds had already sold one million copies. That total has already doubled in just 24 hours.

In a press release, the studio announced that its cooperative underwater exploration game has sold 2 million copies worldwide. Across all platforms, the game has reached up to 651,000 concurrent players, including 467,582 on Steam alone.
