So far, Steam has raked in more than $15 billion this year

While the video game sector is in crisis, the industry’s biggest players are doing extremely well. This is particularly true for Valve, the company responsible for Steam. In a recent report, Alinea Analytics revealed a staggering figure!

So far in 2026, Steam has already raked in approximately $15 billion. This includes sales of games, downloadable content, and software. Furthermore, Forza Horizon 6 takes the top spot as the most lucrative title, with approximately $210.5 million in revenue.

The open-world racing game from Playground Games is followed by Crimson Desert ($203.3 million) and Resident Evil Requiem ($200.9 million). In total, the six most profitable games on Steam accounted for just $1 billion of the $15.5 billion generated in 2026.

However, it’s important to note that these figures are not official and are currently estimates. Other major games that have just been released (such as Onimusha: Way of the Sword and The Blood of Dawnwalker) are not included in these figures.
