Back in 2016, SNK Corporation established a subsidiary called SNK Entertainment. This served as a contract developer for games and other graphic productions, is now a thing of the past.

Thus, SNK Corporation has dissolved SNK Entertainment today, Thursday, August 20, 2026, barely ten years after its creation. Most of its operations and licenses have been transferred to the parent company.

SNK Entertainment’s goal was to "bring back SNK’s dormant IPs and serve as a starting point for development of new SNK digital content, collaborations, and merchandise."
