Samsung is set to release a new monitor for PCs. The South Korean company has confirmed that its Odyssey G8 G80HS will arrive in Europe on June 19, 2026, priced at €1,499.
While the price tag is certainly steep, it’s worth noting that this 32-inch monitor will be capable of a resolution of 6144 × 3456 pixels (6K) at 165 Hz. Dual mode will reduce the resolution to 3072 × 1728 pixels to boost the refresh rate to 330 Hz. The GtG response time is 1 ms, with a brightness of 350 cd/m² and a static contrast ratio of 1000:1.
Users will also have access to a DisplayPort 2.1, as well as two HDMI ports and a USB 3.2 hub. Finally, HDR10 and HDR10+ Gaming formats are supported, as are NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro features.
