Rockstar won't speak on the online for GTA VI for a long time
When it launches on November 19, Grand Theft Auto VI will only feature its single-player story. There will be no online experience at launch… And that’s likely to be the case for a long time.
In fact, Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier explained that Take-Two Interactive did not mention GTA VI’s online mode during its earnings call. He also noted that the publisher "doesn’t plan to discuss it anytime soon."
The current version of GTA Online reportedly generates up to $500 million per year. This explains why Rockstar and Take-Two are in no hurry to release a new version tied to GTA VI.
