The Resident Evil series is definitely Capcom’s cash cow, so much so that the Japanese publisher is looking for ways to offer new experiences to its players to bridge the gap between new installments.

Remakes play a role in this strategy, but they aren’t the only part of it. In fact, Capcom is now looking to develop additional content for titles already on the market. Insider Dusk Golem has revealed that this approach will be expanded in the coming years.

The insider specified on X that Capcom is working on major narrative DLC for Resident Evil Requiem, as well as for Resident Evil Veronica. The latter is expected in 2027. All future games in the franchise may receive DLC of this type, offering several additional hours of gameplay.
