The Resident Evil franchise still has a quite bright future ahead. Following the success of the ninth entry in the main series, Capcom is expected to release remakes of Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Resident Evil 0 in that order.

It’s the latter that interests us today, as a leak from Capcom’s internal network, known as Capcom ID, may have revealed a new feature designed for this modernized version. Specifically, a function titled Invite Friend for Co-op has been spotted for a project codenamed Chambers. This is the last name of Rebecca Chambers, the main character of Resident Evil 0.

Thus, we can assume that one player will control her and another will play as Billy Coen. Co-op was gone from the original game, but players could quickly switch between the two protagonists. Single-player mode should still be available alongside this co-op mode.
