PUBG : the game will get a 120 FPS mode on consoles this month
PUBG Studios has announced a major new feature for its battle royale game. Starting July 23, PUBG: Battlegrounds will be playable at 120 FPS thanks to Patch 42.2.
Note that load times will be reduced and adjustments will be made to damage detection. Here are the technical specifications for the different modes by platform.
- PS5: « Performance » mode at 1440p and 120 FPS / « Quality » mode at 1800p and 60 FPS
- PS5 Pro: « Performance » mode at 1800p and 120 FPS / « Quality » mode at 2160p and 60 FPS
- Xbox Series X: « Performance » mode at 1440p and 120 FPS / « Quality » mode at 2160p and 60 FPS
- Xbox Series S: « Performance » mode at 1080p and 120 FPS / « Quality » mode at 1440p and 60 FPS
