PUBG adds kicks and item throwing in the new update 43.1
Although PUBG Battlegrounds has been out for nearly 9 years now, it continues to get new content and improvements regularly. Today, we’re talking about Update 43.1.
A trailer just over a minute long was posted on the PUBG: Battlegrounds Korea YouTube channel, showcasing the new features in this update.
It reveals a new close-quarters combat animation: the kick. It obviously offers a more impactful move than the basic punch, allowing players to break down (and even destroy) doors, as well as knock opponents off heights they would otherwise be able to climb.
Additionally, we learn that it will now be possible to speak while in the water, as well as to pick up and throw a whole host of new items: ammunition, helmets, and scopes.
This update is scheduled to be released later today on PC and will arrive on consoles on September 17. Check out the trailer below:
