The PS5 price increase on April 2 had a consequence that went somewhat unnoticed. On its website direct.playstation.com, Sony also sells less expensive refurbished consoles.

These second-hand consoles have therefore also seen a significant price increase. A refurbished PS5 Slim with a disc drive now sells for €549.99 instead of €449.99. The same goes for the PS5 Slim Digital, which now costs €499.99 instead of €399.99. Meanwhile, the original PS5 Standard (with disc drive) is priced at €449.99. For this model, stock is very limited.

As a reminder, since last month’s price hike, the new PS5 Slim with a disc drive is priced at €649.99, or €599.99 without a disc drive. The PS5 Pro is priced at €899.99.
