Onimusha: Way of the Sword has sold over a million copies on its release
Capcom has just scored another commercial success this year. Following Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata, the Japanese publisher is celebrating the sales of yet another game released this year.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword surpassed the one-million-copy mark worldwide on its release day, September 4. This brings the total sales for the Onimusha franchise as a whole to over 10 million since its inception in 2001.
In its press release, Capcom reiterates its desire to "re-activating IPs that haven’t had a new title launch recently."
