It’s the end of an era for NVIDIA. The retirement of the NVIDIA Control Panel takes effect this week for users of Game Ready and Studio drivers.

The process was completed with the release of GeForce graphics drivers version 610.47 WHQL on May 26, 2026. Note that the Control Panel will not disappear immediately upon updating. It will be removed in the event of a clean reinstall and can be reinstalled via the Microsoft Store. However, it will no longer receive new features, patches, or updates.

From now on, the NVIDIA App, released in November 2024, will definitively take over.
