While Nintendo has already acknowledged that players will not be reimbursed for the additional costs applied to its products due to customs duties that were in effect in the United States, it will nonetheless make a small gesture toward the community.

Nintendo of America says it wants to thank its customers by offering a 30% discount on dozens of Switch games and digital bundles. The promotions apply to physical games, downloadable content, accessories, amiibo, and even apparel. The sale runs from September 13 to 26 on the eShop, the Nintendo Store, and retail locations across the U.S.

"The Customer Appreciation Sale is our way of saying thank you to Nintendo players for their continued support and is made possible in part by tariff-related refunds. While Nintendo absorbed most tariff-related costs, the refunds helped make promotions like this one possible."

Europe and Japan are, of course, not included in this initiative.
