Nintendo may one day release a very useful accessory for those with both a Switch and a Switch 2.

Indeed, a recent patent suggests that the Japanese company may be working on a dock compatible with both consoles. The dock would be able to identify the console and adjust the power supply accordingly. An internal fan would also cool the dock itself and the Switch inserted inside.

The video resolution and fan speed will be adjusted on the fly depending on the selected console. It remains to be seen whether this dock will be released.
