It seems Halo Studios wasn't affected by a wave of layoffs after the release of Campaign Evolved

Just one week after the launch of Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28, members of Halo Studios announced their layoffs on social media. It appeared, therefore, that Microsoft was conducting some sort of downsizing once the remake was available.

However, these signs may not reflect reality. According to GamesBeat, the American company simply let go of contractors who had been hired to supplement the internal team during development.

"No layoffs have occurred at Halo Studios. There are often external contractor shifts that happen after a game ships. This is what people are noticing."

Therefore, it’s unlikely that there will be mass departures at the company in the coming days.
