Is the GTA VI PC release being moved up because of the rising console prices?

Rockstar Games has always tended to release games for PC last. The one for GTA V came a year and a half after the console versions. As for Red Dead Redemption 2, it took over a year to arrive on PC.

However, things could change with GTA VI. In the past, there have already been several rumors suggesting a possible earlier PC release. Andy Robinson of VGC reiterated this theory during a recent podcast. According to him, Rockstar will release this version in the relatively near future.

"I do think they’ll push the PC version up. There is a bit of noise about that. That perhaps the PC version might arrive sooner than some people might expect. Just because of everything that is going on."

Robinson is speaking about the rising console prices, which are making them less and less affordable. Furthermore, high-end PCs feature technologies that would significantly enhance the gaming experience.

Of course, all of this is just speculation at this point. Rockstar and Take-Two have not yet announced a release date for the PC version of GTA VI.
