Jotoyo Studio recently announced a new title called Monster Fantasy. It is expected to release on PC at a date yet to be announced.

This is an action-RPG in which players will hunt gigantic monsters and build a magnificent home. Yes indeed, the game features a life sim aspect. Players will be able to fish, chop wood, gather resources, cook, and even craft equipment for their avatar.

Add to that an online multiplayer mode that lets you explore this world with friends. Valleys, rainforests, frozen plains, volcanoes, and much more will be accessible.

Finally, Monster Fantasy will be crowdfunded via Kickstarter, with the campaign launching on July 15. Generative AI is used to allow players to converse freely with NPCs. The developers note that "this exploratory feature is completely separate from the game’s traditional content."
